The South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) basketball crushed the visiting West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA), 56-16 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tarpons now possess a 13-10 record. They play next when they host West Jefferson for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. South Lafourche will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 31-25 league loss to Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-15.
