Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Vermont Academy knocks off Austin Prep

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Vermont Academy Wildcats ice hockey team scored a close 5-2 victory over the Austin Prep Cougars.
The Wildcats (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Worcester Academy by Pingree (South Hamilton, MA), 4-1, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Winchendon Wapiti (Winchendon, MA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 5. Austin Prep will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Wapiti go into the contest with a 11-13 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Canterbury School (New Milford, CT).
