In Saturday's non-league test, the Plymouth Wildcats (Canton, MI) ice hockey squad tipped the host Calumet Copper Kings (Calumet, MI), by a final score of 5-4.
Next, the Wildcats face the Northville Mustangs (Northville, MI) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 3. Plymouth will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 21-7 record after their 3-3 non-league Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI).
The Copper Kings (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Negaunee (Negaunee, MI). The Miners come into the Lake Superior test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Negaunee nudged Kingsford (Kingsford, MI), 6-5, in a league test.
