Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Canton nips Portage Northern

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Canton Cobras ice hockey team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Portage Northern Huskies.

The Cobras (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Chargers come into the Kensington Lakes - South contest with a 14-13 record. In their last contest, Churchill was nipped by Belleville (Belleville, MI), 8-2, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. Portage Northern will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record.
