Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ) and the visiting Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ), saw Middletown North's basketball squad overcome Central Regional by a tally of 44-28.
With the victory, Middletown North improves its record to 3-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 12. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 15-4. Hightstown won 48-30 in their recent non-league contest against Nottingham (Hamilton, NJ)
The Golden Eagles (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Jackson, NJ). The Lions come into the Shore B - South contest with a 0-17 record. In their last contest, Liberty was defeated by Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ), 47-25, in a non-league contest.
