Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Abington Heights thwarts Wallenpaupack Area

The Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA), 64-50 in Friday's league test.
The Comets (18-3) will now prepare for their test against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders go into the Lackawanna 1 test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, West Scranton went down by Valley View (Archbald, PA), 54-34, in a league test.
The Buckhorns now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host North Pocono for a Lackawanna 2 test on Tuesday, February 14. Wallenpaupack Area will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 49-43 league win over Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-8.
