The Spencerville Bearcats basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Ada Bulldogs to 35 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkway for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Spencerville will meet a Panthers team coming off a 57-52 league loss to St. Henry (St. Henry, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 6-14.

The Bulldogs (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Temple Christian (Lima, OH). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Temple Christian was routed by Elgin (Marion, OH), 58-51, in a league contest.
