Flinthills Mustangs (Rosalia, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Argonia Red Raiders (Argonia, KS), 50-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Flinthills upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to West Elk (Howard, KS) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 10-7. West Elk lost 57-46 in their recent non-league bout against Caldwell (Caldwell, KS)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Caldwell Bluejays (Caldwell, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Argonia will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Bluejays come into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 57-46 non-league win over West Elk (Howard, KS).
