Atchison Phoenix (Atchison, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Harmon Hawks (Kansas City, KS), 74-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Atchison upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Highland Park (Topeka, KS) to play the Scots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Scots come into the bout with a record of 15-0. Highland Park won 87-73 in their recent non-league bout against Central (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Hawks play the Hogan Prep Charter Rams (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Harmon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 57-56 non-league loss to Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO).
