Illinois High School Basketball - Maroa-Forsyth can't hold off Auburn

The Auburn Trojans basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans to 63 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central for a Sangamo contest on Tuesday, February 14. Auburn will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 40-36 league loss to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Bluejays record now stands at 20-7.
The Trojans (13-15) will now prepare for their contest against Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL). The Bombers enter the non-league contest with a 14-14 record. In their last contest, Argenta-Oreana nudged Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL), 60-57, in a league contest.
