Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Conway Springs Cardinals (Conway Springs, KS), 61-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Belle Plaine upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Sibley East (Arlington, MN) to clash with the Wolverines in a AA Section 2 bout on Monday, February 13. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 5-17. Sibley East lost 69-66 in their recent league bout against Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country (Le Sueur, MN)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Belle Plaine Dragons (Belle Plaine, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Conway Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 77-52 non-league loss to Cheney (Cheney, KS).
