Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bishop LeBlond Eagles (St. Joseph, MO), 69-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Lafayette upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Hickman (Columbia, MO) to play the Kewpies in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Kewpies go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Hickman lost 68-47 in their recent league bout against Jefferson City (Jefferson City, MO)

Next up, the Eagles play the Jefferson Eagles (Conception Junction, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Bishop LeBlond will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record.
