The Canyon View Jaguars basketball team (Waddell, AZ), was nudged 59-57 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ)

The Eagles now possess a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Desert Mountain for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 18. Ironwood will confront a Wolves team coming off a 64-55 non-league win over Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 24-4.

The Jaguars (20-7) will now prepare for their battle against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds come into the non-league battle with a 12-14 record. In their last battle, Chaparral edged Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ), 60-59, in a league battle.
