The Wagner Red Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Chamberlain Cubs to 40 in the Red Raiders league victory on Friday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vermillion for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Wagner will battle a Tanagers team coming off a 45-44 non-league win over Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD). The Tanagers record now stands at 7-11.
The Cubs (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Miller (Miller, SD). The Rustlers come into the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Miller prevailed over Todd County (Mission, SD), 90-61, in a non-league contest.
