Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon knocked off by Thomas Stone

The Thomas Stone Cougars basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Chopticon Braves to 60 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to City College for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Thomas Stone will battle a Black Knights team coming off a 77-12 non-league win over Southwestern (Baltimore, MD). The Black Knights record now stands at 16-0.
The Braves (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Hurricanes enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Huntingtown ran past Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD), 57-45, in a non-league contest.
