The Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Albany, NY) basketball nipped the host Shaker Bison (Latham, NY), 70-66 in Friday's league test.

The Brothers (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Averill Park (Averill Park, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Averill Park was tipped by Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY), 54-49, in a non-league test.

The Bison now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Green Tech for a non-league outing on Monday, February 13. Shaker will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 59-43 non-league win over Poughkeepsie (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 10-7.
