The Eastern Comets basketball team (Greentown, IN), was nudged 39-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN)

The Panthers now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylor for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 14. Elwood will battle a Titans team coming off a 52-39 non-league loss to Tipton (Tipton, IN). The Titans record now stands at 15-4.

The Comets (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 7-13 record.
