Ohio High School Basketball - Elgin nudges Temple Christian

In Friday's league outing, the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) basketball squad edged the host Temple Christian Pioneers (Lima, OH), by a final score of 58-51.

In their next game, the Comets face the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 14. Elgin will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 10-11 record after their 67-65 league win over Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH).

With the defeat, Temple Christian moves to 9-11 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Ada (Ada, OH) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, February 11. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 7-12. Ada lost 71-35 in their recent league match against Spencerville (Spencerville, OH)
