The Rock Falls Rockets basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs to 59 in the Rockets league victory on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 12-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Erie-Prophetstown for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Rock Falls will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-36 league win over Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 9-16.

The Cogs (10-18) will now prepare for their contest against Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL). The Cardinals come into the Big Northern contest with a 17-10 record. In their last contest, Stillman Valley was routed by Byron (Byron, IL), 51-38, in a league contest.
