Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL) and the host Hartsburg-Emden Stags (Hartsburg, IL), saw Ridgeview's basketball squad knock off Hartsburg-Emden by a tally of 61-43.

With the victory, Ridgeview improves its record to 9-20 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Tremont (Tremont, IL) to play the Turks in a Heart of Illinois challenge on Friday, February 17. The Turks come into the challenge with a record of 16-11.

Next up, the Stags play the Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL) in a Tomahawk challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Hartsburg-Emden will attempt to improve on its 7-20 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 11-15 record after their 87-43 non-league loss to Tremont (Tremont, IL).
