In Friday's non-league outing, the Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD) basketball squad edged the host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD), by a margin of 59-54.
The Pirates (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Battlers go into the B Region 6 outing with a 2-15 record.
The Rebels now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Scotland for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 11. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 63-30 non-league loss to Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-9.
