The Houma Christian Warriors (Houma, LA) basketball knocked off the host Rosenwald Collegiate Academy Pride (New Orleans, LA), 51-37 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (11-13) will now prepare for their test against South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Hurricanes go into the 2A District 9 test with a 15-12 record. In their last test, South Plaquemines notched a victory over Fisher (Lafitte, LA), 70-20, in a league test.
The Pride now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Jefferson RISE Charter for a 2A District 9 test on Monday, February 13. Rosenwald Collegiate Academy will encounter a squad coming off a 64-63 league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA). The record now stands at 7-10.
