In Friday's non-league outing, the Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) basketball squad edged the visiting Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT), by a count of 67-61.
The Spartans (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Hall (West Hartford, CT). The Titans go into the Central Connecticut - West Colonial outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Hall was tipped by Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT), 53-46, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Plainville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 14. Platt will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 64-50 league loss to Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-13.
