Quaboag Regional Cougars (Warren, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA), 72-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Quaboag Regional upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Cougars travel to Southbridge (Southbridge, MA) to play the Pioneers in a South Worcester County - B bout on Saturday, February 11. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Southbridge lost 59-46 in their recent non-league bout against Uxbridge (Uxbridge, MA)

Next up, the Senators play the Pioneer Valley Regional Panthers (Northfield, MA) in a Hampshire - North bout, on Sunday, February 12. Mahar Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 47-45 league loss to Drury (North Adams, MA).
