The South Colonials basketball team (Worcester, MA), was nudged 57-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Marlborough Panthers (Marlborough, MA)
The Panthers now possess a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Middlesex Regional for a Midland-Wachusett B battle on Tuesday, February 14.
The Colonials (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam Vo-Tech (Springfield, MA). The Beavers come into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Putnam Vo-Tech edged Northampton (Northampton, MA), 57-54, in a non-league battle.
