Illinois High School Basketball - Princeville topped by Mercer County

The Mercer County Golden Eagles basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Princeville Princes to 28 in the Golden Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galva for a Lincoln Trail contest on Tuesday, February 14.
The Princes (16-11) will now prepare for their contest against Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Mallards come into the non-league contest with a 6-17 record. In their last contest, Henry-Senachwine was defeated by Putnam County (Granville, IL), 56-39, in a league contest.
