The Sandy Creek Cougars basketball team (Fairfield, NE), was nudged 29-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Milford Eagles (Milford, NE)
The Eagles now possess a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boys Town for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 11. Milford will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 56-50 non-league loss to Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE). The Cowboys record now stands at 8-10.
The Cougars (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Heartland (Henderson, NE). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Heartland was nudged by Osceola (Osceola, NE), 76-66, in a non-league battle.
