The Newcomb Central Huskies (Newcomb, NY) basketball felled the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 57-39 in Friday's non-league test.
The Huskies (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Wells (Wells, NY). The Indians go into the Section 7 Mountain Valley test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Wells thwarted Johnsburg Central (North Creek, NY), 60-58, in a league test.
