The Poplar Bluff Mules (Poplar Bluff, MO) basketball felled the visiting Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO), 65-47 in Friday's league test.
The Mules (6-9) will now prepare for their test against New Madrid County Central (New Madrid, MO). The Eagles go into the Southeast Missouri test with a 16-7 record. In their last test, New Madrid County Central thwarted Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO), 63-59, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they host Farmington for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Notre Dame will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 64-30 non-league loss to Central (Park Hills, MO). The Knights record now stands at 3-12.
