The Ord Chanticleers basketball team (Ord, NE), was overwhelmed 71-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE)
The Eagles now possess a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Battle Creek for a C1 District 7 battle on Friday, February 17. O'Neill will confront a Braves team coming off a 71-45 non-league loss to Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE). The Braves record now stands at 6-15.
The Chanticleers (6-15) will now prepare for their battle against Ravenna (Ravenna, NE). The Bluejays come into the non-league battle with a 11-11 record. In their last battle, Ravenna trounced Gibbon (Gibbon, NE), 49-31, in a non-league battle.
