Illinois High School Basketball - Rantoul knocked off by Pontiac

The Pontiac Indians basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Rantoul Eagles to 61 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yorkville Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Pontiac will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 98-38 non-league win over Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-20.
The Eagles (8-21) will now prepare for their contest against Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Raptors enter the non-league contest with a 18-11 record. In their last contest, Rich Township was defeated by Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL), 60-54, in a league contest.
