The STEMCivics basketball team (Ewing, NJ), was nudged 85-81 in Friday's league battle with the host Somerset Tech Jaguars (Bridgewater, NJ)

The Jaguars now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dunellen for a Greater Middlesex - Gold battle on Saturday, February 11. Somerset Tech will battle a Destroyers team coming off a 60-43 non-league loss to Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ). The Destroyers record now stands at 5-17.

The (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Steinert (Hamilton, NJ). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 8-15 record. In their last battle, Steinert was nudged by Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ), 55-32, in a league battle.
