Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lakeview Wildcats (Lakeview, MI), 63-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Big Rapids upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Newaygo (Newaygo, MI) to play the Lions in a Central State bout on Friday, February 17. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Newaygo won 46-32 in their recent league bout against Tri County Area (Howard City, MI)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Walkerville Wildcats (Walkerville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 48-25 league loss to Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI).
