Maryland High School Basketball - Damascus tops Paint Branch

Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD), 42-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Damascus upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Northwood (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Gladiators in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Gladiators come into the bout with a record of 3-14.
