Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Stark Generals (Weare, NH), 51-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Derryfield upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hanover (Hanover, NH) to play the Bears in a Division II bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Hanover won 36-26 in their recent league bout against Hollis-Brookline (Hollis, NH)
Next up, the Generals play the Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH) in a Division II bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Stark will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
