In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Fleming County Panthers basketball team scored a good 57-49 triumph over the Elliott County Lions.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 11. Fleming County will attempt to move on its 11-16 season record. The Thorobreds enter the game with a 4-14 record after their 53-19 league loss to Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY).
With the defeat, Elliott County moves to 6-14 on the year.
