The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Highmore/Harrold Pirates to 35 in the Rebels non-league victory on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Valley Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will battle a Vikings team coming off a 43-28 league loss to Arlington (Arlington, SD). The Vikings record now stands at 13-5.

The Pirates (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD). The Coyotes come into the non-league contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Waverly/South Shore was defeated by Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD), 67-27, in a non-league contest.
