The Kennedy Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Iowa City Little Hawks to 52 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion for a non-league game on Saturday, February 11. Kennedy will face a Wolves team coming off a 48-37 league loss to Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 10-8.
With the defeat, Iowa City moves to 4-13 on the year.
