Nashua South Purple Panthers (Nashua, NH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH), 55-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nashua South improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Purple Panthers travel to Merrimack (Merrimack, NH) to confront the Tomahawks in a Division I challenge on Friday, February 17. The Tomahawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Blackbirds confront the Salem Blue Devils (Salem, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Keene will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 46-38 league loss to Exeter (Exeter, NH).
