St. Mark's Lions (Southborough, MA) followers left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT), 5-1 in a league match.

The Lions (3-14) will now prepare for their match against Rivers (Weston, MA). The Red Wings enter the match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Rivers by Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA), 2-0, in a league match.

Next up, the Griffins clash with the Pingree Highlanders (South Hamilton, MA) in a challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Pomfret School will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record.
