The Cherokee Warriors held off the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.
The Warriors now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host North Cobb for a match on Thursday, February 16.
With the loss, Sequoyah drops to 0-1 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Rome (Rome, GA) to encounter the Wolves in a match on Thursday, March 2. The Wolves come into the match with a record of 0-3.
