In Friday's non-league challenge, the Doherty Spartans (Colorado Springs, CO) ice hockey team the host Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO), by a margin of 8-4.
The Spartans now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Palmer for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. Doherty will play a Terrors team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Mullen (Denver, CO). The Terrors record now stands at 6-9.
The Kadets (2-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Woodland Park by Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO), 7-0, in a league challenge.
