The Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Alcott Wildcats (Chicago, IL), 73-51 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles (13-16) will now prepare for their test against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Gators go into the Fox Valley test with a 25-3 record. In their last test, Crystal Lake South was trounced by Geneva (Geneva, IL), 62-57, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to St. Patrick for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Alcott will encounter a Shamrocks squad coming off a 76-59 league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Shamrocks record now stands at 20-9.
