Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Alliance Bulldogs (Alliance, NE) and the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), saw Alliance's basketball squad hold off Lexington by a tally of 57-53.

With the victory, Alliance improves its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Sidney (Sidney, NE) to confront the Red Raiders in a C1 District 12 challenge on Friday, February 16. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 19-2. Sidney won 46-40 in their recent league challenge against Chadron (Chadron, NE)

Next up, the Minutemen confront the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record.
