The Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), 63-50 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bobcats (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs go into the Eastern Connecticut II test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Woodstock Academy notched a victory over Ledyard (Ledyard, CT), 53-40, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Griswold for a Eastern Connecticut I test on Tuesday, February 13. Plainfield will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 64-52 non-league loss to Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-8.
