The Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) basketball crushed the host Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY), 71-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (16-8) will now prepare for their test against Red Bird (Beverly, KY). The Cardinals go into the District 49 test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Red Bird was trounced by Pineville (Pineville, KY), 72-34, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 3-21 record. They play next when they host Ryle for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 14. Bishop Brossart will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 93-66 non-league loss to St. Henry (Erlanger, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 15-10.
