Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Riverdale Falcons (Mt. Blanchard, OH), 62-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bluffton upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Pirates host Elida (Elida, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Elida won 58-49 in their recent league bout against Memorial (St. Marys, OH)

Next up, the Falcons play the Hardin Northern Polar Bears (Dola, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 69-30 non-league win over Vanlue (Vanlue, OH).
