Escambia County Blue Devils (Atmore, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bullock County Hornets (Union Springs, AL), 51-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Escambia County upgrades its record to 16-9 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to UMS-Wright Prep (Mobile, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 16-16. UMS-Wright Prep won 63-33 in their recent non-league match against Geneva (Geneva, AL)

With the defeat, Bullock County moves to 16-11 on the year.
