The Calloway County Lakers basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the host Hopkinsville Tigers to 64 in the Lakers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Lakers now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Calloway County will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 66-56 non-league win over Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-7.

The Tigers (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, KY). The Falcons come into the District 8 contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Fort Campbell was defeated by Montgomery Central (Cunningham, TN), 48-45, in a non-league match.
