Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE), 61-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Milford upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE) to play the Golden Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Golden Knights come into the bout with a record of 11-5.

Next up, the Buccaneers play the St. Elizabeth Vikings (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Caravel will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record.
